Pilar Corrias is a new contemporary art gallery located in London’s West End, launched to acclaim in October 2008. Architect Rem Koolhaas designed the space and O-SB were commissioned to create the gallery’s graphic identity. As well as crafting a distinctive typographic logo, O-SB custom-made a complete typeface for the gallery’s sole use. The Pilar Corrias logo and typeface, produced in only one colour, are instantly recognizable but have a simplicity that ensures the art always takes precedence. O-SB has also designed the gallery’s website and print material, from private view cards to exhibition signage.
