The De La Warr Pavilion announced the completion of its 8-year restoration and refurbishment project with the opening exhibition, 'Variety', in 2005. Over 25 artists presented new work in film, video, photography, painting and sculpture. The identity for the exhibition was based on a lead image made through a mixture of hand-sprayed and digitally generated stencil lettering. It was used for posters, leaflets, private view cards, advertising and signage.
